Don't want you to think I've forgotten that I have other Children. So here are pictures from our Labor Day outing to Lake Jacomo. It is only about 15-20 minute drive north of us. This is where the ward had their father-son camp out this past year. We were going to fish from a canoe. Then we realized taking a baby on the canoe probably wasn't a good idea since Rick would have to do all of the rowing. We rented a 16
foot motor boat. The fishing idea didn't work out either because Rick couldn't get the brand new pole, we bought on the way, to reel in. So we just had a blast riding around the lake. Daniel was nervous at first because this was the first time on a boat. He wasn't sure about going fast. He soon lost his fear, though, as Rick got the boat going and Daniel could feel the wind in his hair and Rick would turn the boat just so and get each of the boys wet. Rick let them have a turn at driving too. Garrett was supposed to have had a nap before we went out on the boat but didn't get one. I was surprised he did so well with that crazy life jacket on. He liked it best when we were moving along in the boat. The wind made it not so hot. The movement and the sound of the motor made him finally go to sleep in my arms. (and he slept through getting the life jacket off and putting him in his carseat.) This was a fun family activity. We'll be doing it again.

Looks like so much fun---we had a rather dull labor day with my parents. lol. I can't believe how much daniel is looking like connor now. When did that happen? see you soon
I didn't even recognize Daniel. He has grown up so fast. It looks like you had a great time.
It looks like it was a lot of fun! We didn't do anything for Labor Day this year. Jon worked that day so that he could take Friday off for us to attend stake temple day (which was worth it!)
